Aurora
Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1995 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora sometimes stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well received by music blogs. She has recorded several high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that have been widely praised. Katy Perry shared a tweet where Perry promoted her song Runaway. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano within her loft and being amazed by the music. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music, not as an income or as a pastime and as a way to grow. She began writing her own songs. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her most favored writers. To counter her mother's suggestions that people should not be aiming to become famous with the songs she writes, but rather realize the importance of themselves and their impact on society. The piano was her first instrument, at six. She began writing music when she turned nine. The family members didn't know about her musical journey until she was 14. Aurora did not have a set goal. She claims that she enjoys composing music. For her music, it is the best method of expressing anything.
